Love oysters? Wine? Beer? All of the above? Then you’ll want to come and checkout this fun epicurean event; ‘Kegs, Corks & Oysters’ this Saturday September 8th, 7 pm at Credit Union Place in Summerside.
Chef Robert Pendergast will be serving up fresh oysters on the half shell and 4 culinary delights featuring Malpeque oysters. This event is part of the Fall Flavours kick-off weekend and is not to be missed!
The evening begins with a Wine and Beer Tasting Reception at 7 pm. Guests will have the opportunity to sample a variety of local and imported beer and wine. Chef Pendergast and Chef Emily McKeown’s creations will be available for tasting, sommelier Kempton Hyson will be on hand to present, and island oyster shucking champs will demo their skills. Musical entertainment will be provided by Catherine MacLellan.
